In the Early Elementary Years, students have access to various educational resources to build their learning, such as: the Knowledge Portal (gamified and interdisciplinary digital book), the WordWall and Padlet apps, online platforms, workbooks, teaching materials, and starting from the 4th grade, students receive a Chromebook, among other tools.
In this phase, the student takes the first steps to become the protagonist of their projects and ideas because they will be able to put into practice everything they remember and understand.

As a central proposal of the PSDP (Personal and Social Development Program), we work in parallel with the curriculum on activities that develop self-awareness and socio-emotional skills.

Portal School is a strong partner with families, so we closely monitor each student and also keep parents informed about their children's progress.
Portuguese and mathematics support classes provide assistance in case of difficulties, as well as personalized planning if needed.
The student will always have the support of the teacher to guide them.
The academic year is divided into four quarters, and throughout each of them, students will be assessed continuously, with a final exam at the end of each quarter.
In addition to tests, students will be involved in activities that also contribute to the quarterly grade, such as projects, presentations, homework, assessments, class participation, among others.
