Respecting oneself and others: can a school teach that?
Here, at Escola Portal, we affirm that it can

We need to know how to listen to others
How many adults do you know that can really actively listen to someone? really know how to actively listen to a person?
In a world full of distractions and a fast-paced routine, it becomes increasingly difficult to pay attention to others.
Let's reverse this reality, shall we?
Truly understanding the feelings of others, learning to handle differing opinions, and expressing oneself respectfully in the presence of others are some of the important skills encouraged daily at Portal School.
We need to talk about feelings
We are complex beings, so why suppress the understanding of what we feel?
That's why exercising emotional comprehension from childhood is essential for our students to become well-adjusted adults.
