Direct contact with nature in a vast green space in the heart of Sorocaba.
1000 m² of pure nature without leaving the school
Why do we take playing in nature so seriously?
It's a fact: nature is one of the pillars in the development of healthy children and adolescents.
This fact can be affirmed by both older generations, with their advice of "go play outside, kid!" and by recent scientific studies.
According to a study by the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics and the Alana Institute, research links the lack of playing and learning in/nature with health problems in childhood and adolescence such as obesity/inactivity, hyperactivity, low motor skills - lack of balance, agility, and physical ability - and even myopia. At Portal School, we see your children's growth as a whole, so they can grow up healthy and happy.
Teaching the importance of the environment to the new generations is among the goals of our practices at the Foxy's Den.
In a routine where, increasingly, children and adolescents live confined in closed environments, talking about the subject has become a priority so that we can ensure a conscious future generation.
